Being that today is tax day, I decided to post an entry-unrelated to taxes, of course. I assure you dear readers that my absence from this blog can be explained. Besides the important task of job-searching, I have been doing everything to keep myself warm in this icebox of an apartment. There is nothing more soothing than the heat generated after baking something in the oven and just stove-top cooking in general. I have also hypnotized myself into long and intense cardio workouts as they have proven to heat up my body to its maximum temperature. Truth be told, moving here during the
spring time gave me illusions of flip flops and short sleeves. Who knew I'd be needing my fleece pants, down jackets, and snow socks in the middle of April? I own only 2 long sleeve shirts. My husband owns a ton so I've been wearing his shirts and he doesn't even notice. What is wrong? I'm not in So-Cal anymore! This state seriously needs to be divided in two! Another storm is slated to come this way next week. I didn't get my share of April showers last year so I should enjoy them now, right? The insulation in our new home is just terrible. Brrrr! It's cold in here!
Moving on....crafting for Claudine's wedding has also kept me busy. I eat, breathe and sleep yo-yo's. When I'm on the phone, I'm making yo-yo's. When I'm cooking in the kitchen, I'm making yo-yo's. In my sleep, I am making yo-yo's. It has been pretty fun and a few minutes ago, I finally knocked out the last few. I only messed up like 50 of them. j/k!

I'm hoping these bad boys pass quality control! : )
I am definitely looking forward to the weekend! Marc and I are meeting with a friend on Sunday and tomorrow is a free day for both of us. Can't wait! It's 8:00 pm and you have 4 hours to have your tax return post-marked for today's date! Get on it people!
