After Marc's interview on Friday, we headed to the beautiful Redwoods nestled in the Santa Cruz mountains and found ourselves at The Mystery Spot.
If you were like us and are itching to know what this place is all about, you can read all about it on their website. In summary, this area in Santa Cruz is believed to have some sort of force that causes a gravitational shift. I'm no scientist so if you're really curious, I suggest you make a visit yourself. This is Marc standing at an angle. We were all standing like this at the spot-not by choice, I may add. The gravitational pull/magnetic anomaly/mystery was really strong that day and I felt it all over my body. I almost threw up as all the pressure went towards my head resulting in a massive headache that lasted through the entire day.

At least, we got free stickers, right? Up until now, the 'force' remains a mystery. I highly recommend taking a dramamine before going up especially if you are prone to motion sickness. I normally am not but this got to me for some reason.
I say it's worth going just to be enveloped by the amazing Redwood trees.
Since were were already in the area, we headed to the overly crowded boardwalk. It happened to be Spring Break around the area and apparently, the world thought it would be a great idea to congregate on the beach.
I won't lie-it was nice to see the ocean again. :)
The line for this ride snaked throughout the park-it looked like Disneyland out there, no joke!
When I was a child, I used to think that the swings were the most awesome ride. I don't think I can stomach a ride on them anymore.
The signs of spring are everywhere but the weather doesn't really say so.
Tomorrow will be Friday once again so perhaps another adventure will be in store for us. I most certainly hope so. Stay tuned!
